And I'm a skirt girl. I will go for weeks on end and wear only skirts or dresses to work. I love the summer for cute skirts. I am always on the lookout for slinky-ish skirts with a cute pattern or something fun about them. But I love the ones that are S,M,L...pull on, no zippers, etc. Just pull them on and go. The problem is that they are somewhat hard to find. UNTIL NOW!!! So Cato isn't in the mall. It reminds me of a Dress Barn-ish kind of store in the way of quality, prices, location...you know, always in a little strip shopping area. In my case, it is next to the grocery store. Who would have thought? So J asked me to go to the grocery the other day and get some bread and milk. Walking in, I spotted the Cato and thought, "What the heck?!" I was in the mood for browsing and thought I'd check it out even though I didn't think it would be my kind of store.
Let me just tell you! I found the skirt shown along with 2 others that are similar in fit but different in pattern, a shirt and a pair of shoes all for...are you ready??...$50!!! Yes, the quality is not to the level of ATL. But the stuff is CUTE and for the price, I figure if I wear it this year and next, it'll have paid for itself! The shirt was $5. The skirts were $17 (full price), $12 and $8! The sale prices are ridiculous! And I figure that, really, the quality isn't any different than Target's quality. They're simple skirts. Simple design...simple stitching. And how CUTE is this little gem!?!?! I love it! I'm wearing it today and have gotten so many compliments on it.
So the moral of the story is, if you have a Cato, go in! Try it out...you might be surprised!
