not a good combo

You know what's not a good combination?

Previous Miscarriage + Light Spotting + Light Cramping, all within a week of when our last baby died. Yeah, this makes for one nervous little nelly!

So I *think* everything should be okay. I think the spotting is from the progesterone...and I think I need to be drinking more water (which seems nearly impossible on some days, but I need to do it). There seems to be a connection between the amount of water I consume and how, er...dryyy things seem to be down yonder. I think the spotting comes when I insert the progesterone and maybe irritate my cervix a bit. Possible?

And I think the slight cramping seems to be Round Ligament pain. It's exactly as Dr. Google describes it.

We have our 8w (3d) u/s tomorrow afternoon. I'm so nervous since Mya's heart stopped beating in the 9th week. I can't wait until I'm far enough along to hear the hb on a doppler.

I also made my appointments with an OB. First a visit with the nurse practitioner on April 13th. Then I have to wait another 5 weeks to see the OB! By that point, we'll almost be to the point where we can find out what the baby is! Seems crazy to think I'm going to have to wait that long, especially with having 3 appointments in the next 3 weeks. I think the doppler will be a lifesaver.

Nothing much to update, I just wanted to get my thoughts down. Oh, and guess who made Iron Commenter for the second time this year?! You're lookin' at her! Two down, one to go for my Dirty 30!! I apologize for being super boring and not blogging much lately. I've been focused on commenting for ICLW and have tried to do a lot of relaxing because I don't know what the deal is with the spotting and pains. I do have a few posts in the works...one on my newly reorganized closet, one on a cheap date from this weekend! So stay tuned!!

  4. I'm praying for you! I'm sure the spotting and cramping are just normal pregnancy symptoms, but I completely understand your worry. I hope your u/s goes really well tomorrow!

  5. I had a lot of cramping in the beginning. I didn't stop checking for blood until I was in my 5th month. Yes, you are right the suppositories can cause some spotting. I took the pill form so my cervix never spotted but I always felt like I was.

  6. I had spotting and cramping through 9 weeks with this pregnancy and everything has been perfectly fine! There have been a few episodes of RPL where I seriously thought "this is it, it hurts so bad" but you get used to it after a while.
    Good luck at your ultrasound!
